a great number of chums inquire with me as to what carrying charge means. What carrying charge is, is a cost associated with holding a financial instrument or storing a physical commodity over a defined period of time. Carrying charges include fees such as insurance, storage, and other related costs. These costs are generally incorporated into the price of a futures contract or commodity.

whatever you do, don't sell MAD Bfor fall 2008. At least 3 analysts told me that, when the weakening in the forex traffic might uplift on the MAD-USD rates.

apparently the surmise that the MAD is thought to stay put against the USD for the near future came about through the fact that MAD-USD rates will be affected by the changes in the apparel imports, and therefore is going to climb up (if correct) may possibly explain the torpor of the MAD.
